Here you will find 64 bit versions of the VLC media player for MacOS X, compiled from the current git sources.  The current one is vlc-1.2.0-git, dated 15/04/2010.

While I do use the version posted here on my own systems, I cannot give any warranty.  This is purely to help you get a current VLC for your 64 bit machine until VLC supports the Mac platform again or Lunettes is stable enough.
